KKE Issues Statement in Support of Communist Party of Sweden

The Communist Party of Sweden (SKP) is the "only party in Sweden that represents the interests of the working class against capital, rejects the EU and the 'war economy,' and does not accept the demands of capital as the only path forward," the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) said in a statement.

On September 13, 2026, triple elections will be held in Sweden: parliamentary, regional, and municipal. Greek immigrants who are Swedish citizens can vote in all three elections, while those who are not Swedish citizens can vote in the regional and municipal elections.
